This is not just a hotel – it is a space with a soul, created by Polish artists and Venice residents: Jola Słoma & Mirek Trymbulak.
Every detail of this boutique apartment has been refined with the most demanding guests in mind. Unique furniture, sophisticated lighting, natural materials, Murano glass decorations, and amber accents create an atmosphere of artistic sensitivity and warmth. It is the perfect place for travelers who choose privacy, elegance, and individual style over the anonymity of a hotel — for those who wish to feel Venice as its resident-artists do.
The interiors of PONTE DE LE ERBE combine comfort with an artistic spirit: every corner tells a story — of the creators' amber heritage, the tradition of Venetian artisans, and the meeting of cultures that permeates their work. The apartment is located in a restored, historic building standing right next to the characteristic PONTE DE LE ERBE — a bridge that for centuries connected local craftsmen, herb traders, and artists.
This is a space for connoisseurs of beauty, for guests who value high standards, individuality, and an intimate, boutique atmosphere. Comfort and privacy go hand in hand here with sophisticated design — you receive not just a place to stay, but a full, authentic Venetian experience: subtle, luxurious, artistic.
The owners — through their foundation La Via dell’Ambra — also encourage artists and curators to use the apartment as an intimate exhibition space. If you are planning a small show, a presentation, or an artistic project — PONTE DE LE ERBE can become a unique stage for your vision, in a place that naturally combines art, design, and history.
If you desire to truly live Venice: to immerse yourself in its art, feel its rhythm, and experience luxury that does not flaunt opulence but authenticity and beauty — PONTE DE LE ERBE will be the ideal choice for you. A place you will want to return to.
The PONTE DE LE ERBE apartment is an intimate, bright space of approximately 40 m² with a height of 4 m. The main area is an elegant living room combined with a dining area featuring a large table and a fully equipped kitchenette. Neo-Gothic windows let in plenty of light and offer a view of the canal, bridge, garden, and a typical Venetian street with picturesque shutters.
A charming cast-iron staircase leads to the mezzanine, where the main, comfortable bed is located. A second bed of the same size is located in the living room, discreetly tucked behind the sofa. Guests can choose which bed they want to use — just inform the host. Access to the bathroom is through the antibagno (anteroom).
Guests have the entire apartment at their disposal. We encourage you to enjoy the authentic Venetian rhythm of the day: open the shutters in the morning and close them in the evening. We kindly ask you to:
After confirming your arrival time, you will receive a code for the video intercom and the keypad at the door. Upon check-in, the person introducing you will explain how the house works.
